Small portable tubs — we fix the heater and pump.
DreamMaker (and its EZ Spa sub-line) makes compact, lightweight portable spas, many running plug-and-play on 110v. There's a Boca-area pool-and-spa shop that's carried the line, but availability for service comes and goes — and a small portable still has a real heater and a real pump that fail. We diagnose and repair those directly, flat-rate and same-day.
What tends to fail on a DreamMaker
DreamMaker and EZ Spa tubs are built light and compact, and many run 110v plug-and-play. As with any 110v spa, that means limited power headroom — the system can't push a hot heater and strong jets simultaneously — so a weakening heater or pump becomes noticeable quickly rather than being masked by spare amperage. It's a small tub, but the heater-and-flow relationship is the same as on a big one.
The heater is a compact flow-through unit, so the usual failures apply: an element grounded out and tripping the cord's GFCI, or one scaled by hard water so the small water volume never quite reaches set temperature. Because there's less water to heat, a struggling element shows up as a stubborn few degrees short — which is the symptom we trace to the element, scale, or a sensor.
Pump-wise, these tubs keep it simple, often a single pump doing circulation and jets. When it goes, you feel it everywhere at once — weak or dead jets plus a heating hiccup. The causes are standard: a dead start capacitor (hums but won't spin), worn bearings, or a weeping shaft seal. All common parts, which keeps a DreamMaker repair from turning into a long wait.

Answers before you call
EZ Spa is part of the DreamMaker family — compact, portable, often 110v plug-and-play. The heater and pump are the same kinds of components, so we service both the same way.
On a small 110v tub, heating is slower by design, but if it stalls a few degrees short and won't finish, that's usually a scaled or weakening element or a sensor reading off. We diagnose which at the visit.
